Hi all, here are some shots from this past weekend. Quite by accident I came across a great abandoned glass factory. I later found out that many local urban explores had been here prior.

Very nice. Not overcooked like some HDR's. Which programme do you use ?

Thanks to you both.

Most of these are processed with Photomatix, although I believe that "fallen" and "utility" are done with FDR Tools. I don't remember exactly because I processed each photo in both HDR programs to see which I liked better, and Photomatix was better in most cases...save for a few.

Very cool shots and great processing. I'm curious - how did you know it was a glass factory?

Very well done HDR. Makes me want to find an abandoned building myself.

this makes me want to go into an old pig slaughter house that caught on fire about 20 years ago and never opened back up! Great pics!

Thanks to you and everyone for the kind words!

It's funny how I came to realize that it was a glass factory. I knew that there was an abandonded glass factory in this town, but had no idea where. I wasn't even thinking about it when I found this building. As I wandered around inside, i noticed a sticker on a desk that said "only the best comes in glass" - at which point it dawned on me that this was the place I had heard about.

Here is a shot of the desk with the sticker I mentioned in my post above. I exported this large so the sticker would read.

Of course, the irony of the broken windows and glass on the floor is part of the appeal.
