so i have been using smugmug for about 5 months and i love it! Where are all the other smugmug users?

I would like to see some of your pages and see what some of the advanced features can do!

-----------------------------
is there anything you really like about it, anything you dont like about it?

i really like their referral program, i have enough money in it to not have to pay for it for the next 7 years! by the end of the year, i think i will upgrade and shouldnt have to pay for that.

the thing that i dont like is that the price gap is so high, but the pro version may be worth that much to get it... i dont know.

------------------------------

anyways, what do you guys think?

Hi there, you can check out my smugmug site http://www.velvet-art.co.uk (http://www.velvet-art.co.uk/), I've done some customization with drop down menus, slideshow on the home page and a few other things. I've only had it up since the end of dec08.

You wont regret upgrading to the "Pro" level.

wow i love it! Is this all within the smugmug editor or can you add your own html codes?

Kinda a bit of both. Most of my customisation code I got from the customisation forum on Dgrin ( the smugmug support forum ), a lot of it was cut-and-paste with alteration of a few details, and put into the customisation menu into the css/java/header/footer fields.

But you can use html in the gallery or image descriptions, you just need to wrap the html code in <html> </html>.

I dont know if these options are available on the standard smugmug account, but I can tell you that these options are usable on the pro level account.

Glad you liked my little effort of a site.

no problem! it goes a long way. I was into web design so that feature is very important in how i want to create a photo site... the standard account doesnt have any of that so that helps a lot!
