I think I need a Pelican to store all my stuff at home. This morning I got up and looked around and could not help myself but to laugh and cry. I have camera stuff everywhere, I mean lens, batteries, flashes... everything. I also have bags I stuff things in but this is not cutting it for sure.

So on to a pelican were I can fit all my current crap and future needs. I was think of a 1610 but was not sure if it could fit everything. We have 1640 at work and its really tooo big, for the room that its.

What I have to store is:

5d w/o grip
1dmkIIn
40d w/ grip
ef 15mm FE
ef 16-35
ef 24-105
ef 70-200 f/2.8 IS
ef 35L
ef 100mm macro
ef 300mm f/4 IS
siggy 50mm f/1.4
Speedlights 430 and 580EX II
Plus.... tons of extras, batteries, filters, manuals and so on.

People of POTN help my storage problem. Before I lose something...again.

Thanks!

Mike

With that much equipment you will be hard pressed to fit
it all in one Pelican case. I have much more equipment
however I have seven Pelican cases. Most of my cases are
the 1550 with padded liners. I just bought this week a 1520
which is a little smaller and lighter which will hold just
enough to take out in the field and I will usually have two
more cases in the car with other equipment in case I need it.
In the 1520 I have two 1D bodies a 70-200 2.8, 20mm, 50mm
85mm and a 24-70mm. Hope this helps.

yeah, i highly doubt you will be able to fit all that equipment into one decent sized pelican case.. maybe (2) 1550's
