Le Mans Series LMP's - Silverstone 2008

Hi All,

I have finally got round to finishing the PP'ing of my LMS photo's from the Silverstone round last September. I have posted a selection of LMP1 & LMP2 photo's in this thread, and will create seperate threads to post some of my GT1 & GT2, and Classic Endurance Racing Series photo's shortly.

As always, C&C's welcomed.

All photo's were taken with a Canon 40D + Sigma 50-500mm EX DG HSM lens and Monopod from the terraces at Luffield.

#5 - 2008 spec WR - Zytek chasing a Pescarolo onto the Start Finish Straight

#6 - New closed version of the RML Lola which debuted at Silverstone. Note the engine air intake located on the rear engine cover rather than above the cockpit in the roof as with most other Lola B08/80 Coupes.

Same here Alex, it offers such close racing with lots of overtaking (not just between classes either). The series also provides large grids with a vast array of different and gorgeous cars (sports and prototypes). Most importantly they sound great too (at least at the moment they do whilst they're still powered by internal combustion engines!!!)
