I just bought this from Amazon about a month ago. Just getting around go going through it and learn about it.

Right off the bat, I decided I wanted to play with the flash for test shots, and on p.87 of the manual, it has: "Displaying and Setting [Flash Settings]".

Anyway, it says to press the "menu" button and then choose the tab with the camera iron on it, the first one on the left; from there, you arrow down to "Flash Settings", press the "Func. Set" button, and make your changes to the settings, and so on.

The problem is MY A590-IS does not give me that tab when I press "Menu".

My tabs are from left to right: a blue tab with a right arrowhead inside a frame, then an icon for printer, and then tool icons (toolbox?).

Did I get a weird camera? Where is the camera settings tab in Menu?

What to do now?

Thanks.

The switch on the upper right of the camera back toggles between Camera and Replay. You have that switch in the Replay position. Push it up to the Camera position. Then push your Menu button.

If you had it in green box (auto) it may not give you all the options. Perhaps?

Yep, tylerdan is right, you have the camera set in the review position okay.

Thanks to the quick responses from everyone. I'm glad to be here to ask or help with better questions that that in future.
