I have a Canon 20D and have been shooting to a Sandisk III Extreme 2gig card. So far as I can tell I have lost several blocks of images (jpegs). These are shots I have taken and reviewed in the camera that have later vanished. Shots taken before and after remain on the card. This is not happening often but is obviously very scary. Can anyone please offer me any help or advice? Thanks.

Well it sound's likr the card is faulty to me. Get windows to run a scandisk on it and see what that says. Then get the CAMERA to format it and try again. If you only loose them on that one card then take it back and tell them so!
Good luck

The card was a mess according to Disk Utility (I'm on a Mac). I'm going to refromat it as suggested and if it plays up again I'll take it back. Thanks for the advice.

I have seen that some Extreme IIIcards come with a recovery utility on disk. Maybe they have a problem.
