...or just two of them, rather. I noticed my folk's toy poodles sitting patiently on the stairs waiting for them to come home the other day, and couldn't resist! Plus, I had to take my new Nifty Fifty out for a spin, right?

Very nice friendly looking dogs! I do believe though, your DOF Depth of Field is a bit too narrow. The focus point should always be the eyes. In the 1st both eyes should be in perfect focus. The focus was closer to the nose. Using f4.0 vs. f1.8 as an example would have rendered more of the face in focus. Same for the 2nd image too. The 3rd is great but could use the same as above. Give it a try as see the difference.

Thank you for the feedback. I realized that I'd lost the focus on the eyes when I did post, but I thought those three were cute enough to keep anyway. It was my first time out with the fifty and using an aperature that big, so I had no idea just how wicked that DOF was!
