Im trying to find the rights lense that will be perfect for urban photography. I may have already mentioned this in one of my posts on here from a couple of days ago about going to Las Vegas in two months. However, this time I have a secured budget. And that budget has to be below the 150 dollar mark !

If anyone could make any suggestions on what kind of lenses would best fit my Rebel XSi for some night and day shooting of the Las Vegas strip, would be very much appreciated :D

Remember I only at the moment, have $150.00

Its $250 *** Not $150. Sorryyy !

You want a decent lens for under $150?

50mm f/1.8 springs to mind.... if you want something better I'd suggest saving a bit more and buying the really good stuff rather than cheaping out and having to resell later on when you do get the money.

$150 really isn't much to work with. I second the 50 1.8. Other than that, I'd say TRY and find something second-hand. But good luck with that though...

Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS if you want a zoom. $250 is still a little low for quality glass though.
