I have been looking for a way to show clients there portraits using photoshop thats not a pain in the butt and looks more professional than XP's slide show option. IS there a way to do this in photoshop that I am overlooking? I would like to select a folder from inside PS and have it display the images full size on the screen scrolling through them with out all the pallets visable.

I do not believe so. I use IrfanView for that. It's free and really pretty powerful for the price.

What is unprofessional about XP's slide show ? It is designed for doing that job and it does it well.

Well, no one has ever said to me "You appeared to be really professional right up to the point you used XP's built in slide show". ;) :D

Cheers

Photoshop doesn't have a slideshow function as far as I know, but there are lots of free programs available that can do it.

IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com), which DReb-MO already mentioned, is very popular and good.

I started using this free program over the weekend and really like it. You can pick what folders you want listed and view each one as you want. Has some editing features, slide show and other nice features along with a very user friendly interface. www.picasa.com (http://www.picasa.com)

Yes, you can make slide shows with PSCS. From the file browser, go to automate - PDF presentation. The program creates a PDF file containing all the images that you select, and it cycles like a slide show.
