Epson P5000-Portable sotrage question

Mods- move this if you like, couldnt decide where was best for it

Ive got an Epson P5000. Im going to Africa for a few weeks, but dont want to bring my laptop with me. Are there any portable , USB hard drives that I can attach to it, and transfer files to from the P-5000? I've tried it with my WD Passport drive, but it wont let me for some reason. Anyone know if this is possible? Or of not, have any good alternatives? Thanks!

I cant be of much help but I also have a P-5000 and am anxious to here if somone has an answer to this.
I took mine to the South Pacific for three weeks awhile back and it worked great but a back up would be great exspecialy a 500 GB passport which I also have.

I just upgrade my P3000 to 120GB

Can't attatch a hard drive to the epson it doesn't have an operating system that can access it.
