Here's a couple of shots of my sister-in-laws kids yesterday. This was a test of my Lightsphere II.

Here's one (my Brother in law would shoot me) that shows pretty good lighting depth with the Lightsphere. Shot almost into a brightly backlit window, used no augmentation of the flash setting. Notice the detail, lack of shadows and how far the flash has carried back into the corner over my BINL's left shoulder.
This is "as shot" wouldn't take much tweaking to bring everything out.

OK, I admit to lack of knowledge - whats a "Lightsphere II" and where do you get it?

I'm liking the LSII more and more every time I see an example of it.

I think it has a great reach and natuaral quality of light...but no 2 is a bit Ov-exposed for my taste

the first one looks to be a bit blurry?
Not sure if it is just me, but it does look like it a bit.
I miss being a kid, getting all the chocolate *starts crying*

I didn't make any lighting adjustments to these pics, so they are pretty much right out of the camera. I didn't take a shot all day that wasn't so bad that you couldn't fix it with a minor tweak. My normal flash shots tend to get out of whack in adverse situations.
