I hate the term "tack sharp." I saw someone say their lens was tack sharp, and it made me think of a tack I use to change the pins in my watchbands. It is quite worn now. But it is a tack, so any level of its sharpness makes it "tack sharp." I hope you like my little interpretation. To me I just say my lens is sharp, and if it is really good I say its "very very sharp."
