Hello, I'm pretty much a newbie in here. Want to ask you guys for advice how can I make this shot better. The main focal, which is the car isn't very focus... I wanna learn taking shots of moving objects like this, and wondering if i should lock the focus first on the car, then take the pic, or maybe there's other tricks for doing that?
This was taken with Canon PSA200, iso 400, +2EV
Thanks!

Well, here we go:
You wrote: The main focal, which is the car isn't very focus... and your question how can I improve this shot?
Answer: you can't since it''s out of focus, titled, etc.
So how to progress? There are various sites on the web that can help you out. Start with Kodak and take it from there. Once you start reading there will be little time left for shooting.
For this one specific: what do you want: a picture with the car frozen, a suggestion of movement, a picture while driving, etc, etc. Without an answer to these questions it's hard to help you out.
Keep shootin'

I want to make the car frozen.. but with sharp focus, but the surroundings are blurry (like suggestions of movement)..
I'll check out the kodak site..thanks!

If you are moving along side the moving vehicle you want to shoot to be able to keep it in focus will be a lot easier than if you were stationary and trying to shoot the moving subject.
With the first scenario you must be stable enough with no camera shake to take the photo because of the low light. Low light=slow shutter speed. Your background will come out like it did. Blurred. Your depth of focus should be set properly and because of the low light the iso setting should also be set to allow for more light.
Scenario two. You are stationary and the subject is moving. Pretty much impossible unless you have the lighting. you would need the crank up the shutter speed to freeze the subject.
Here is the Kodak tips Henk spoke of.

I was moving along side the object, and our speed is not much different. I think i have to wait until it reaches the same speed, and then take the shot. I also need to find some hackysack for the camera to rest on. But i kind of like the background that I made though :) If just the white car is in the middle and FOCUSED, it'll be really nice.
That scenario two you said sounds much harder, it's just like those sports photographers tying to catch something in the middle of action i think.
Thanks for the tips conk!
