Fairly new to the forum and my 50D. Went to the wyedean for my first go at shooting rally cars instead of driving them.Image 1 is slightly cropped , image 2 is not.Thoughts welcome.

They look pretty good, though would like to see them separated and bigger.
1 looks like cracking action and exposure.
As does 2 ,but bit tight in frame.

Thanks for your comments Chris. What do you mean by separated and bigger please?
These were the biggest files I seemed able to upload to the site . Thanks.

I use photobucket and download them at 1024 wide by 768 or 800 by 600,then they will appear on here at whatever size you did them.
1024 x 768 is the max permitted on here.less on other sites usually.
Then uplpoad them one at a time leaving space between for writing comments.
Look forward to seeing the results.
8 images max per thread .
Cheers,
Pons

I'd like to see them bigger too and preferably embedded as per the instructions posted above.
Other than that they look rather good for a first attempt. :)

No that was Darren last year when he had just bought the car from me. Thanks for trying though :):) He did very well with it and I miss it terribly. Not sure which is hardest, driving a rally car or trying to buy a nice 400 f2.8 IS for a sensible price :)

Have you got a 70-200,or 300 2.8,or Sigi 120-300 2.8 ?
They are much more useful for rally and hillclimb
length,and a lot lighter.

I have the 70- 200 is and convertors but would like to shoot various sports and wildlife for which the 400 would be much better if your man enough to carry it! I found it useful for getting round 'keen marshals' shall we say on the dean lol. I rented the 400 for the weekend to see if I could live with it and was sad to see it go on monday :) Reality was it was def too big for the forests but it made me look cool until I had to get the instruction manual out for the 50D lol.:)

Start your thread here, then click down a couple of lines, park it,
Go to photobucket, find your image, left click on IMG code, then right click where it says copy, should come up blue .
Then click back to here ,and paste it ,should then come up .
Try that.
