I'd been spending a lot of time around the river and local nature reserves trying to find the Egrets this summer and didn't have a lot of luck. Well for Easter the family stayed at our weekend house about 1hr south of Perth on the river and lo and behold there would have been about 20 Egrets living along about a 1km stretch. I still didn't get the settings right (whites blown out) but this would have to be one of my best shots of one of them.
