Hi, just recieved a 4GB Sandisk Extreme 3 memory card for my SX10is, I am thinking these two items should work hand in hand as I have heard the SX10 can shoot video up to a 4GB card, then you need to change cards.
Anyone else have a prefered memory card for their SX10?
I also have 2 Fuji 2GB SD cards as backups, from my old Fuji S5800 days.

Actually the SX10 will record up to 4 GB (about 1/2 hr. at 640x480x30 fps) video in one clip. If you have a bigger card, you can then record up to the card's remaining capacity or 4 GB in a second clip on the same card. You don't need to change cards just because you've got 4 GB worth of video on the "old" one.

I'm using "hand-me-down" SanDisk Ultra II and regular SanDisk blue cards in mine. If I expect to do a lot of video, I'll repurpose one of the Extreme III cards I got for my 1D3, but IMO the SX10 doesn't really need the faster cards. Certainly not for video; that's less demanding than max. resolution stills in "Continuous" shooting. It might make a difference if you're shooting stills at the same time as your videos, I suppose.

Looks like the 4GB Sandisk extreme can video just under 46 minutes whilst the fuji 2GB card can do 23 minutes and 15 seconds. That should be enough for what I want.:)
