I'm not a big Floyd Rose fan so, from the guitar side of me, I'll stick with my Gibson.
As for the photos, it's difficult to see the edge of the guitar. once the burst runs out, it looks like the guitar body ends there. On the second shot, if you can cool down the reflection off the bridge, I think it'll draw the eye to that nicely flamed top.
I've shot guitars for years, and they can be a bit of a challenge. The best way I've found to shoot them (outside of using studio lighting) is outside on an overcast day.
Also, tell your buddy to get a polishing cloth. Sweatshirt sleeves can leave very fine scratches in the finish which, overtime, will give the finish a dull appearance...

The light is extremely bright so I'd suggest you get a soft box for something like that. A nice backdrop would also be good.
Looks like a pretty nice guitar. Never heard of it before though.

I disagree. I own a Fender Deluxe Jazz bass with a similar sunburst tone; I really like how the colour saturation makes that sunburst tone in this shot http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v239/-TheGlassPrison-/Other%20Instruments/P3260004.jpg, really glow. It gives meaning to the name of the style.

Is that a DG-25?
One of the few Fender acoustics I actually like, mainly due to the solid Cedar top...

I'm a big Schecter fan. I play a Omen6 with a walnut satin finish. I'll get some pics up soon.

I don't remember anymore. I gotta check the certificate that came with it. :)
btw, the fingers belonged to my wife. She doesn't play a guitar as some of you may have noticed. ;)
