Other than the bit of darkness in #2 you did a good job of showing the "before" of the gas chamber,,, of course the "after" is the real fun part..... hehe

#1 is my fav. Somehow the wedding band helps the photo, although I can't say why.

The darkness was intentional as I really to just get a silhouette of the Marine with the gas mask and not much more of the detail .. i don't know if I did that
Those are more like snapshots - lol - but yes fun indeed!!!
Still happens ... lol
So, any criticism on the PP? Also on #3 which version you like better?

You aren't alone - I also like the band along with a few of my friends ..

what do you want to know Kaj?
Over all on 1-3 where saturation, contrast, vignette, minimal sharpening, warming filter I believe and maybe 1 or two other things ...

Agreed. The muted colors give the pic some grittiness. I think it's my favorite pic of the bunch. However, I think it's still too clean and needs some dirt rubbed on it. I don't know what it's called, but I've seen photos that have black speckled "noise" added to them that might make this pic really stand out. Vignetting might also work.

#2 is my favorite. I think gas masks look cool from below, alien-like. The best time to shoot is when people are taking off a gas mask they've worn for a few hours. That's always a lovely sight. :)
Your pics are nice and sharp. I certainly prefer the compositon of the first four as opposed to the wide angle group shots. Good stuff.

Ah, that brings back memories. Horrible, horrible memories. I hated the gas chamber. Nice images. I think only someone who has been there can truly appreciate the suckiness of the experience. I do miss the Army, though.

I like the first pic of the mask, first edit of the guy with the mask and both from your later post
