Hi All,

As with my recently posted Le Mans Series photo's, I thought I would post a selection of my shots from the UK round of the DTM held at Brands Hatch last August. Better late than never hey!

As always, all C&C's welcomed.

I aren't particularly clued up on who all the teams and drivers are in the DTM series so I won't provide my usual detailed descriptions to support each photo on this occassion. I will let the photo's speak for themselves.

Hope you like them

I think my favourites out of this series are 7 and 8,because they have a bit more room round them.
7 ,for me is a super shot, love the motion and angle.
3 ,on second looks, works very well too.
Very sharp at front ,nice bit of blur behind.
Well done,
Pons

Thanks Chris - Like you I really like how #3 came out, the bare carbon fibre body of that Mercedes was just awesome, and clearly visible in the shot.

I also quite like the close up detail shots, like #4 & #6.

In general, at events like this I aim to capture a range of different compositions in portrait and landscape format to add a bit of variety to my albums.

There's no denying though - those DTM cars are seriously quick :D

I really like these. #4 is great, I would love to see the whole car in this shot, but this works also. Great job!

I really like the second one and the sort of aerial view that you achieved. Presumably you got that shooting under the bridge but with a really long lens?

Thanks for the positive comments Lawrence. #2 was indeed shot from just in front of the bridge (towards the start finish line), on the outfield side of the track, down into the bottom of the dip before Hailwood Hill at 500mm. The photo was actually shot in portrait, but I liked the effect of a landscape crop on it, and that's how it ended up :D
