I assume they're coloured...didn't really look red from the smoke haze did it? Quite atmopsheric shots.

The photos have not been coloured. The moon looked the same as in a total eclipse.

Smoke haze makes for amazing sunrise/sunset too

I have some old film shots of the moon and sun when the forest fires were blazing in Montana many years ago. It turns the moon blood red just like OP posted.
Sorry you guys are having such a horrible Fire season. My Wife just sent a group of BC, Canada people to help you!
