Would like some C&C on these. I was trying to get some nice soft light on the tulips and avoid shadows. Also playing with my new 100mm macro and 40D

Started with this. Trying to aviod the shadows around the petals.

After some homemade diffuser making and some bouncing ended up with these.

I think the light might be coming from the wrong angle or maybe it is just the tulips that are a bit limp, but they lack umph and colour. try angeling the light from behin the tulips more so it shines though the petles...

I like all except #3 - that one seems to be hanging awkwardly, and its highlights have less detail than they should have (little bit blown out).

I recently switched to using the "faithful" setting for the in camera adjustments. I wonder if I am not applying enough "enhancements" in PP. In alot of those the light was coming from the rear. However bounced and diffused to avoid the shadows like in No. 1.
