Is it someone famous? If not then just how will such "exposure" work to those doing the job???

I'd be interested in this exposure if it were a nudist wedding.

Exposure. Yea right. Thank you for your kind offer but the only person dumber than the photographer taking up your offer is your...............fiance. :D

Wow, what an unbeatable opportunity! Imagine being able to spend hours retouching and editing someone else's work and NOT get paid for it! Where's the line to apply?

You say you run a business, but you want someone to do your work for free. While it would be a great thing for you if you could fill it, but whoever is stupid enough to fall for it likely has no real skills anyhow, so I imagine you will get precisely what you pay for.

If you think retouching nudies or porn (as I glean from your ad) is attractive to someone, remember that there are tens of millions of free porn images online for folks to get their jollies with.

Geez.

___

i am a photographer and i run a business here in chicago. i am looking for someone to edit the shots i take. i am looking for someone to mass watermark my shots, resize, and retouch them.

please be advised that this would be unpaid, however most of you will probably really enjoy looking at what i shoot (hopefully you get the picture) so that will be compensation enough. plus this is a great opportunity to gain some real experience.

if you are interested let me know, i am looking forward to hearing back from you!

Yeah. We get lots of those on CraigsList here in Atlanta too. I always wonder what the $%#@ are these people thinking.

A few years ago I shot a wedding as a second shooter for free for a couple of friends with my 1D2. Their "official" photographer showed up with a P&S and then had the nerve to tell me that since she was the "primary" photographer then I should let her shoot my Camera. I laughed until I cried...

Thats just to funny.

I know a couple of wedding photog's that could do a wedding with a high end P&S and get better resultes than a lot of people would with a 1D anything and L glass, but I they wouldn't ever actually try it.

Maybe...I doubt it. P&S just do not have the high ISO capas that any 1 series would, nor the apertures of good L lenses.

Didn't take long for those to get removed. We get em in Detroit/AnnArbor/Lansing/GrandRapids CL's ALL the time.. fortunately there are a few very vocal photographers who are happy to entertain the offer with some pretty competitive counteroffers. Usually the OP gets the point and either deletes the posting or it's removed via flagging.
