hey guys im looking for relfectors. im diggin the price of the calopsable ones. but i want something a bit more sturdy for when its windy. something like california sunbounce http://www.sunbounce.com/cms/index.php?id=957
but they are out of my price range. is there any happy medium? im looking for white on one side and silver on the other. thanks in advance guys

If you need something inexpensive you could try foam board. If you need larger sizes and can't find it locally it can be ordered. One side can be spray painted. Not sure how well it would work in really windy weather however. It would have to be clamped and or straped down.

Below is just one of many places to purchase foam board. Most arts and crafts stores carry it. I usually use the white but either side can be painted silver, gold or whatever you need. It comes in colors but the gold color most the time isn't what I needed - spray painting a more reflective gold tone is often better. The white side works for me as is.

Looks like a good idea. Check out the link below. Then click on Reflective Ripstop. Its a nylon material but it may be too reflective. You could also go to some fabric shops near where you live and see what they may have available. Have a look in the yellow pages.

went out and made one... whew i totally burned my brain on this one.. lol and it seemed so simple to make. getting it tight was the most difficult. it really reflects alot oflight as well.

A good alternative to California Sunbounce is the Lastolite Skylite.

You can see some of the kits and components here:

They're not cheap but the quality is outstanding and they're less expensive than California Sunbounce.
