first try with bibble

hey guys, I just wanted some input on one of the pics that I pp'd with bibble. This is my first time using bibble on my linux laptop. I have always used lightroom in windows and wanted to give this a try.

I am still trying to figure things out, let me knw how it looks and some cc is always welcome

Personally I think the color, the saturation and the composition here all look quite wonderful (maybe a tich hot on the yellows, but I'm good with it). My only real negative comment is simply the expression on the child's face. That's such a cute little face there and considering he's playing with his Tonka truck...it would have been nice to see him smile. I think if the child had of been smiling, this shot would have been simply excellent.

Cute kid - face is out of focus though. I agree with Jim - get that boy to say "cheese" ;-)

yes, I know the face is soft, the thing is that I used the center point to focus then recomposed. Kid won't stay still a second.

The smile, yes, its not there lol but he was watching sesame street so, he was in lala land.

thanks for the coments tho, I wasd only looking for input on things like wb, saturation, temp and those sort of things.

the thing is that I used the center point to focus then recomposed. 20D: If you switch your camera to Custom Function 13-1 to put point selection on the Multicontroller (Joystick) & use AI Servo. it becomes a lot easier. It only takes a fraction of a second to set the point you need.

I do have the function on and I am able to use all the points with the stick. I don't move it around that much because I do miss focus a lot with those points since they are not that accurate.

I guess this is not the best example since I missed focus lol
