Is there a device that can take unprocessed 35mm film right from a camera and scan it to digital? Something on the scale and budget to use in a home office, not a big lab?
All the home "film" scanners I see are really processed negative scanners.

Exposed film has to be processed or else there is no image on either a negative or transparency (slide film)

The processing requires wet chemistry; furthermore, negative film, slide film, and B&W film all need different chemistry from one another.

Yeah you are stuck. You can just get you film developed and then scan at home. Not a lot of options.
