I'm trying to use some of the video files I've captured with my G2 in Adobe Premiere and it says that the files are all corrupted or not supported.

I've tried numerous programs such as TMPGEnc to try and convert them to MPG but every program gives me the same error that Premiere does. I'm pretty sure all of my codecs are updated so I don't think that's the problem. Is Canon just using some crazy type of AVI?

Anyone know what I can do to convert them to a normal AVI? Thanks a lot.

Its a propietary to Canon AVI format. You have to download the correct codec specifically for these movie files. Search the forum or read a few pages down for the correct download site.

There are several threads that mention a free video editor that works with these movies and will convert them to other formats as well. Please take a few minutes to read some posts, and all will be revealed.
