Need a lens to go with my 10d i just bought. Looking to spend under $100. Zoom preferred but not required

The cheapest lenses I've found for the 10D are:
the original 18-55 kit, @ $50-70, modified and adapted (by rmoving the rear rubber covered baffle) to fit the 10D
a Promaster 28-105mm I got at a pawn shop for $10 and which can be gotten on ebay for under $50
and
a KodakGEAR 80-210mm lens also a $10 pawnshop find, but which can be gotten on ebay for $30
the latter 2 are EF lenses so on the 1.6x crop bod are much improved over the full frame bods they were originally designed for...
