Skyport Universal Battery Life

I'm not sure which, but either the receiver or transmitter has an internal chargeable, non-replaceable battery. How long can one expect this to last? Seems like it better be a long time if you have to pay $99 to replace the unit.

Anyone have experience with these?

The transmitter has a button cell, I expect it to last a heck of a long time. The receiver has a rechargable battery, charger supplied, I have no idea how long it lasts but i've been using mine for 12 hours and they still work. How long will the rechargable cell last? That's anyones guess. I figure many years, and at the end of that you might be able to find a cell to replace it, but it might have to be sent to Elinchrom to be done.

I think i recall it will last 30 hours. The battery life long term I too see it lasting for many years.
