[When my wife ever logs onto this forum again, she'll kill me - hi honey ;)]

Its a serious question though. My wife is a far better photographer than I, but she just seems to have lost her desire to take pictures at the moment. To be fair, she's been sick for the last few weeks, but I just can't seem to shift her butt from the sofa to go out and shoot.

Any suggestions as to how I can encourage her to get her mojo back.......

Problem:

I just can't seem to shift her butt from the sofa to go out and shoot.

I've suggested that. 'Lets go to Wales and shoot some waterfalls'.

Response 'Can't be bothered'

Sounds like you need to literally shove her in the car and drive her to a nice weekend away.

It's winter. no mojo here either. maybe when spring comes she will get the initiative to go out and shoot.

Yeah, i think the spring will bring the mojo back. I have had no desire to go out in the freezing cold and shoot. http://m08o1124znfu179.imageshacknow.info/img/2465/c09b0208vwze/POTNwink.gif

I'm taking her to watch football in Leeds next month. Do you reckon that'll do it?

It might if she doesn't like football and smacks him in the mouth!

Buy her a new camera or a nice L lens :)

There's nothing more likely to get a jaded photographer up and out shooting than a new toy to play with.

You also get bonus points for getting her such a nice prezzie. ;)

Not gonna happen

Made some small progress today. Went for a little jaunt around Bourton-on-the-Water. Madam didn't want to get her camera out of her bag; "not my style of photography" was the excuse this time. However, she had to suffer me walking around with my camera, and then she soon started 'getting her eye in', grabbed the camera off me on several occasions and started shooting. Ordinarily I'd be mad, but in the current climate it was worth it.

I feel better tonight, but there's a long way to go.

She doesn't really - lets face it, who watches Swindon Town for pleasure

But there is beer and socialising involved.......;)

Spring should do it.

Take her somewhere to see the most spectacular sunrise/set you can find .. but leave all the camera gear at home.

One could "could have/would have/should have" moment might just do the trick!

Tough Love!! ;)
