Adorama shows it for $530 available in March.

Cant wait to hear some user reviews for this lens.

Those huge range lenses always sound like an awesome idea to me, then I think about how they aren't very fast and how the IQ usually isn't that great, then I get bummed. :(

All true

But they have their uses, Candid street photography, they're small, black and discrete and generally speed isnt needed for them...

If you're going on vacation and you are limited in your lenses, you can grab one of those

I'm currently probubly getting a Sigma 18-125 OS, its a superzoom in my book, but I see it being useful inside of museums and the like (And as a walkaround, Hey, even a slow aperture 200 equivalent gives you the CHANCE to take a shot that you'd miss changing lenses)

The OP's link points to the Sigma USA site, so I'm assuming it will be announced some time in the afternoon in the US.

They are accepting orders at B&H and it's $529. But they say it's not in stock yet.

I hope LightRules can't resist rounding out his Super Zoom testing with the Sigma 18-250. :D

B+H Photo is also accepting orders. I think I am going to wait for a few reviews. Hopefully Lightrules and Photozone will test it and review.
