Here are a some pictures from a night brush fire by a power substation and a daytime brush fire the next day in a field.
First, the nighttime fire by the power substation. Initial response was slowed searching for downed power lines. Turns out no lines were down, must have been a falling branch hitting the lines and then the flaming debris hitting the ground.
1. One side of the substation fire.

2. Looking from there towards the rest of the fire.

3. Spots of fire with lights from units mixed in.

4. Showing a bit of the substation itself.

And now the daytime fire. This was in a field south of town and spread by the gusty winds.
5. Looking downwind. No flames visible, but I like this view.

6. Another view downwind. I like the tire tracks heading that way.

7. Putting out the windward side of the fire.
