These are all excellent images. Color, comp and exposure right on. The best little models too! Our cat is a Kitrina hurricane rescue cat so I can empathize.

They all have a nice catchlight. Does not appear an onboard flash was used. Assume they were shot at the place they were sheltered. Would you mind sharing what lighting was used?

Thanks all for your comments. Actually, the lighting is overhead fluorescent lighting, believe it or not. They are shot in a small room with some wall cages at a local PetSmart where the cat rescue has weekly adoption events. I generally shoot them f/2 - f/2.5 and I spent a few minutes with each cat, and sometimes use toys to get them to look up toward me to get the lights in their eyes. :)
