Hey all,
Well i've been very lucky this week and managed to add a 5d2 to my kit. Adding this has made me rethink my bags and i've come to the conclusion i need to get a small shoulder bag that can carry my 5D2, 17-40/24-105 attached and also a small prime (50F1.4/15mm/85F1.8) with a flash gun stuck in there somewhere too.
So far the only things that jump out at me are one of the lowepro toploaders or maybe a Domke/Crumpler bag?
Anyone want to chime in on this?
A bonus would be that it could also accomodate my 1d2 as the body on occasions when i take that over the 5d.

Depends what kind of materials you like. I have some bags I use all the time and others that just happen when I need them. I love my Domke F-802. I use that the most. For the small 5DII and 24-70 set up only, I take the F-5XB. For trips where I cannot put the camera down, I take the Kata bag. It holds the 5DII with 24-70 attached and the 70-200 2.8 IS. The only thing is, most of my bags are without grips.

Domke F3X sounds like it'd fit your needs quite well.

No need for something that big. For a 5D2 with ONE of the two lenses attached, you could get it all into a 5 MDH. It would be tight with both lenses AND a flash, but you could definitely get the 5D2 and both lenses. Extremely tight -- but that's how I pack my kit.
If you want more room, the 6MDH would be completely sufficient.
