Shot this one of my little girl yesterday. Mom comments "It would be great only if the barette was removed from her hair" In a posed, studio shot perhaps, but this is how she was that day at Grandma's house. I like it...

wonderful! couldn't help but try my hand at the barette removal. Adjusted levels and added a duplicate layer on Overlay blend mode at about 25% opacity to knock a litle of the haze out. Then a run through Neat Image.

Thanks Mgbeach,

I did minimal processing except an "autolevel" adjustment and cropping of the original. Real happy with the 10D - noise at iso 800 was not bad at all.
I'll save your edit as wallpaper on the pc for the wife!
