I love these flowers.i would really be tempted, and this is for this particular flower.to have it dead center and crop right at the start of the stem..love the BG.black is great for this one...the single stem and the white flowers would give it a delicate look maybe?

I'd prefer this: (yes it's brighter but nicer in my opinion)

The crop feels really tight to me at the top especially.^ I agree that possibly less black space from the OP's last photo on the top.

I smell em here.. My wife likes them so I grow them for her. I think they smell like "old barn" For the shot.... good exposure and bkgrnd. It is really hard to compose flowers in a pleasing way. Maybe next time a macro shot that fills the frame. Those little stinkers have a sparkly look that you could try to showcase a bit more. end of 2 cents

I like the third one the best. I love how you can see the rest of the interesting parts of the stem. :)

Thanks for the comments, truly appreciated. I don't have a macro lens nor do I have extension tubes so this was about the best I could do with my current gear. The Canon 100mm or Sigma 150mm macro are on my wish list. I think both would have done the subject more justice.
VPND, you're right about the sparklies on these things. I just wasn't able to capture that with the lens I used. Probably with a true macro lens, I could have.
