View Full Version : WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: PART 152 -- Motion

BLS
16th of February 2009 (Mon), 16:20
Every week we select a new theme and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Motion, aka play with shutter speed; blurring/freezing action. Be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme -- the sky's the limit!

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between sunrise Monday and sunset the following Sunday. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snap shots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=194511 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=194511)

An index to previous weeks can be found here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=170603 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=170603)

That's it! Have fun!

Nicely done there John.. I knew it was water, but the colored paper turns it into a nice abstract..

It was really a bunch of LED lights in a circle and the only movement was my lens zooming out during the exposure in a dark room

I guess it's time to start thinking about our next theme.
Here are some ideas:

1. Keys
2. Buttons
3. Gems

Any other ideas?
Let's hear from you!

Here's one I took last night at a brush fire caused by a campfire that got out of control.

I vote for Keys :)

Tried to get my birds to show off, but I could on scare one to fly.. so I took a shot of him coming in for a landing. Grey and drizzle today. I had an idea, but of course out of 200 days of breeze or heavy winds, this week was calm! Figures ..

I like everyones contributions this week..

So high ISO, no flash and inside on a gloomy day:
