I love his eye's, but the 'blown out' face hurts. It was very 'up-close' and personal (I didn't expect this shot to work at all, and maybe it doesn't). Any post processing ideas or leave it as is. Comments please.

It's a great shot as far as comp, light, and most importatnly 'facial expression'.... BUT I know if it were me who took it I'd be mad that the focus point landed towards his ears and not on his eyes! Then I would cuss a few times and try that shot again!

But excellent job NOT to get any red eye! Look how wide open his pupils are for crying out loud!!

Feihung08...you're right! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets upset (cusses) when the shot has a flaw that could have been corrected fairly easily (focus). I liken it to the feeling you get when you hitt the goalpost in a soccer or hockey game - close, but no cigar!

But just like in the game, after the 'ring', you chase down the puck and try again right?!!!

Exactly! Now, don't get me started on hockey. (NHL lockout & everything. 1.2million/year average not enough? Damn the players). At least with no playoffs I have more time to get out and do photography and surf on POTN.
