I think He's slightly OOF. I'm not sure if I should crop it some, or just leave it the way it is. Suggestions? Thanks!

Nick, I really like the wide perspective on this (Joe B, did you hear that?? lol!) What you do need is another light, low camera left to fill the bottom of the bowl. I would have switched two lights there as well, high left and low right (at much lower power). I like the image, but another light would have really helped ya.

Thanks! I do have 2 lights, but I only have one Pocket Wizard. Another one is defiantly my next purchase.

you could always try an optical trigger for the second light to see how it goes. If they aren't too far apart it may just be a useful solution. Plus it'll only set you back about $10 (if that).

I like the lines in the composition however I agree with Adam in that the rider gets lost in the graffiti on the bowl. Perhaps a little lower and a bit more to the side.

Personally I'd crop out some of the dark space below the rider as it just seems to keep going and gets a bit distracting.

Like the point of action though! :) Keep it up!

Anopther option is to shoe mount one flash and use a pc cord to the PW to trigger the second off camera.

Or you could use an ettl/ittl cable and move the flash off the hot shoe and also use pc cord to the pw.

When I go again I'm going to try and get up on top of the wall. Also, I'm not quite sure where you would put the 2nd flash. Maybe have the flashes closer, and on the bottom left and right?

Although when I go on that wall I'll have a on camera flash at low power, and than one at the bottom at a higher power.
