Ready made? I used Fastfilms. They have a few different sets. Depends on what you want and budget.

I have the Pro Mount SM8 which is a bit pricey coming at £350ish but so many different options you have.

If you scroll to the bottom, some shots of mine - http://www.fastfilms.co.uk/camera-suction-mounts.php

Whilst it does give me so many options, it still cannot do the same as one large pole from the underside of the car held by magnets. Main problem is, factory built kits are solid but cost a significant amount more.

DIY rigs are as cheap as you want but need to take into account things like the mounts you use and possibly weight/damage issues.

Home Depot carries EMT poles.

Yeah you just need about a 10ft steel pole. Some clamps, a ball head, and some super suction cups. They can get pricey though so keep in mind you need a wallet. LOL

Alright, Ill be making one of these very shortly! Found out that HD doesnt have suction cups. The have a decent pole that is adjustable. Its a pool cleaner extension. I think its light and solid. If anyone has tried this and it didnt work let me know.

Ill be getting the Manfrotto clamps and suction cups. And I was lucky enough to pick up this thing at my local shop. IT was in a bucket of old parts, but this thing was made to clamp onto a pole and hold a camera. So for now Ill try that first. If its too weak, Ill get the ball mount for the manfrotto as well.

Im excited to try this out. Let you know how it goes.
