Hi guys,
It's a long time since I've used my a630 but I quite fancy giving it a try again. I often carry my DSLR around with me but it's quite big and heavy so the thought of having a pocket-sized camera again appeals.
Anyway, as this forum's slow, I thought I'd share some photos I took a couple of years back with the A630:

I love my A630. Since I got the SX10 I have put my A630 on the back burner. I will now take both cameras with me on the road! I have gotten some great photo's with the A630 over the past 2 years. It is quite the camera! And all were taken in the Auto mode!

I have an A630. I love it. I've had it since early 2007 and it's been beat up over the past 2 years. The LCD screen is very scratched so it's hard to review images on it, but I'm too cheap to get it fixed. Don't feel like sending it away to Canon and spending $150 on the repair. Too scared to try to do it myself, though I've read some tutorials on how to do it that don't sound complicated. Can't afford to replace it if i break it though, as I just spent all my money on my DSLR, LOL.
Anyway, over the past 2 years, my little A630 has taken well over 5000 images. The autofocusing is started to get a little slow and not working as well as it used to. Not sure what's up with that.
Here's a couple shots I took with mine (I tried to insert the pics here, but it woudln't let me for some reason)

Lightning (http://picasaweb.google.com/SusanBerthold/NightMoonAndLightningPics#5358168500643398226) - this one would've been really good had I not been just goofing around and shooting through the porch screen!

Oh, I also used my little powershot for my first try at fireworks pictures! I took over 100 shots. Some were good, some not so much. Edit: Grrrrr - why can I not get the images to embed into the thread here? Does Picasa Albums not work with the forum?
