So I went around and dropped off some business cards at local business stores today that had anything to do with weddings. I want to get some small postcards to drop off too that have my pics on them. Any suggestions on where I can get that done?
Any other suggestions for local networking?

you can get postcard sized shots done at your local instant printer.
alternatively you could go to you good photo developer and have them print off a wad of 6x4's with your details on the back. You should of course add your company details on the front of the images somewhere so they stand out.
Marketing? well friends and word of mouth is a great way of marketing. A website is a very usefull tool too, many people are planning a lot online these days. My wife and I planned the whole lot online 5 years ago.

I am a dealer/distributor for post cards at a tremendous discount over the normal 4 color printers. E-mail me with your requirements. We have custom layouts available or we can do the layout for you. my e mail is sherwoodphoto@cableone.net

I used Vista Print...they're extremely affordable (sometimes even have "free" deals) and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality!

My wife and I pretty are impressed with them too. You get to design your own cards and the price is good an as dancinmyazoff said they have free deals at times.
For me the only downer about designing your own stuff on the web is that you have to get the colours just right (calibrated monitor would be ideal) otherwise the final print may not be right too. That said my wife has had many deliveries from Vista and I only just calibrated her monitor on the weekend after ppl were complaining her web page was too bright.

I like the flat cards at WHCC - you can get them printed double sided as well so you have twice the space to market with...www.whcc.com. Not sure if you already have an account set up with them but I have been happy with the customer service there and they have quick turnaround time too.
