yes, it's small, easy to use and reasonably priced.

Its slower because of the SD card

I would suggest to wait some weeks before buying. I've heard that Canon is going to announce the replacement of A95 by a new version somewhat similar
to the A520 body i.e. 2 batteries, 4x optical zoom, 2.5 aperture
