I was asked by a Friend to take some photos of his band, I'm always on the lookout for new things to photograph so i accpted the offer.
The lighting was terrible so i resorted to maxing the ISO to 6400.
Typical exposures were F2.8 S 1/40-60. Using PS I then used shadows/highlights and levels and adjusted accordinly.

And here are the results

Dont have a go at me but im using a N*kon D100, the ISO goes up to H2, which i believe to be 6400, or maybe 3200. (i might be wrong).

I do have a canon camera too, so dont have a go.

I think the noise works in these kind of shots. alternatively, try using some fill flash to freeze the motion of the guys but still end up with a motion-blurred background.

yeah, i kno what ur saying, but i didnt want to use flash at all, i wanted to see how the photos came out. I think they came out pretty ok, considering.
