Why is the weather on Bank Holiday weekends invariably abysmal? Good Friday when I've got my chores to do in the garden, the sun is splitting the sky. Come Saturday we've got cold, damp and drizzle that's only just starting to improve now.
Moan over - despite the weather enjoyed a good day of action at Harewood Speed Hillclimb. As a result of the weather, light was terrible and I only made it below ISO800 a couple of times across the day. Here's some shots from the day :-
A classic Royale RP2 to start with. I like this one because of the eye contact with the driver.

The MG car club was out, although unfortunately the entry was quite small.

The tarmac at Harewood seems to hang on to it's grip even when wet. This Westfield SEi is running on full slicks even though the track is wet and drizzle is coming down - he won his class on the day.

and finally, remember the mighty Jag that KennyG posted a couple of weeks ago? Well here it is blasting around the curved approach to the final corner on the hillclimb course.

Hope you like the shots.
Cheers,
Simon.
