Hi, I have a canon EOS 100 2Q camera and I have EF 70-300 Auto Focus Lense and a EF 35-105 AutoFocus lense. Will these Lenses work with any new Cannon EOS out there? If so which ones? Thanks

All Canon EF lenses will work on all Canon digital SLR cameras.

Best regards,
Andy

Thanks Andy, I didn't want to waste these lenses if I went digital. This is good news...

Hehe ...

yes, but once you read the forum very often, you will get convinced that there are even better (and much more expensive) lenses out there and that you *must* upgrade

BTW, welcome to the forum :D

Best regards,
Andy

See thats what so funny. Most people don't realize that this forum is sponsored by the Canon marketing department. A lot of the people here are actually just computer scripts designed to talk about how good L glass is and why you should upgrade to the latest digital body.

There is no must.

If you are happy with your lenses and the results you are getting, then by all means continue using them and seek "improvements" in other areas, instead of simply getting the Ls'.

Yeah, we are just bunch of chat bots planted by Canon to promote its products and spread the L virus. LOL.

But seriously, whether a lens is good enough for any given user depends on a few things, mainly, budget, intended use, taste and desire, etc. It is absolutely a good idea to start or merge into a new thing slowly with what's on hand. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong.
