I am a wedding photographer in the bay area and I was hoping to find an assistant/second shooter for my upcoming 2009 wedding season. I am looking for someone who is interested in learning wedding photography and gaining some experience.

For anyone interested, please provide some level of a portfolio and list of available gear. After that we could setup a call to discuss in more detail what I am looking for.

I am very interested in learning wedding photography and gaining some experience. I am hoping to have my portfolio site up within the next month or two after doing a few more shoots to build.

My gear consists of: Canon 40D, 50mm f1.8, 420ex flash w/ diffuser, and soon 17-40mm f4

I am a little late to respond but did you find someone yet?

I shot some weddings last year and hope to shoot more this year.

35mm 1.4L
50mm 1.8
70-200 IS USM 2.8L
