Heads up around Las Vegas

I drove through Las Vegas a couple of days ago and saw that the Air Force is flying the new F-22 out of Nellis AFB. Of course my camera was burried in the back seat........

There is a place off of Cheyenne and Nellis Blvd that sits by the base Golf Course where you can get some great approach shots. If you can get a little elevated, you can get even better shots.

We have one of them things (F-22 Raptor) flying around Langley AFB as well, but there is only a couple of good spots to catch airplanes (without getting my camera taken away) and they are not convienent to get to. And when I say one, I mean one (for training) we will be getting more over the next few years, but until then I can only spend so much time sitting around waiting for it to fly into view, if it is flying that day.

But I know it will be flying at our air show this year, since they have been playing with the Eagle Demo team a couple of times.
