I only would have this suggestion because I work for a company that manufactures frames, so I see a lot of advertising materials. If you've got lenses in the frames, try reflecting some light off of them. IT draws the eye to the shape of the glasses which is really what is crucial. Good job putting the ends of the temples out of focus, thats probably the ugliest part of glasses.

oh, on my computer i can clearly see the slight gradient i casted on the lenses. but my monitor is lighter than most i think. i need to fix that.

i like it. it looks translucent and very light. and i like how the back part seems to fade into the background.

Or my monitor is very very mis calibrated... I can barely see the gradiant.
Regardless, I forgot to mention this in my first post, thats a great shot :)

Nice try, but it needs something.

I agree. Try putting a piece of gray (or colored) card to the right & lighting part of it so it reflects a gradient into the lenses.

again.. on my monitor i can see the gradient/reflection on the lenses, even so it is susposed to be subtle.
i should have taken a shot of the setup. to get the reflection i had a roll of the white backing about 6 feet high down to hte ground, with a strobe shooting off of that creating the reflection.

it is susposed to be subtle. I see it, & it is subtle. I was thinking of something a bit more blatent!
(Thanks to Marie, for the colored type tutorial!) :D
