Holding an SLR

I have a 300D, and I'm pretty new, I find I tend to tilt my head forward to look through the viewfinder...

Is this a problem?

Does it hurt? Do you images suffer?

If you can answer "no" to both questions then I expect it is not an issue.

only on your neck and back...have you tried lifting the viewfinder to your eye as an alternative?

you need to take a 2x4 and use some duct tape (or rope) to tape (or tie) around your head and around your body, that'll keep you from tilting :-P

j/k. But just as charles said, as long as you're confortable and as long as your images are fine, I wouldn't worry.
