Happy Friday Rich...that is an excellent shot!!! I've tried to capture the moon with my 70-200 f4 non IS and Xti, but all I every get is a white spot. I'm glad you posted your settings, I'll have to dial those in and give it a shot.

jmann, I have gotten white spots as well with my 70-200mm, then I put a 1.4x tc, turned OFF the IS and put it on a tripod and did much better.
